The range was developed to deliver maximum soil restructuring with minimum surface disturbance to different applications and conditions. All tines use the same point and shin.
Sabre Max is a full depth sub-soiling tine. The wings are formed by replaceable slats which burst the soil at five points. The twisted slat profile point loads clod and reduces draft. Sabre Max is particularly effective for heavy clay soils. The double slat wing option prolongs wear life on stony soils. The wing assembly is interchangeable with Sabre Lite. Sabre Max is often fitted to both sub-soiler machines as well as disc/tine cultivators.
Sabre Lite brings Sabre technology to shallower working conditions with narrower spacing suitable for OSR establishment or disc/tine cultivators. The wing is interchangeable with the Sabre Max by changing the bolted frog/wing assembly.
Sabre Mono is a full depth subsoiling tine particularly suitable for stony, shallow soils. It is ideal for brash/limestone soils where less aggressive restructuring is required. The single wing follows the same profile as the slatted tine but the tine spacing is closer. In terms of application this is one of our most flexible tines.
Sabre Ultralite removes shallow subsurface compaction and is particularly useful for OSR establishment. Wings are available in two lengths depending on conditions, with the longer wing providing more lift.
